Rain

As I stand there,
         In the Rain,
I feel your gaze,
         On me.

I want to turn back,
And look at you,
         That penetrating gaze.

But I know,
         You don't want to be,

Found.

The clouds, they dim,
As the Rain takes over,
         Reminding me,
Of when you always,
         Stood outside,
         And watched,
The Rain fall.

Maybe it's ironic,
That the Rain pelts,
As I feel your stare,
Burning inside of me.

You don't wish to be found,
Or you would have already,
         Showed yourself.

You have your reasons,
         I'm sure.

So there I stand,
On top of that fake grave,
Hoping, one day,
That you will come back,
         Alive.

And until then,
         I let the rain,
Fall.
